Bosnia and Herzegovina
In May 2002 IOM Mission in Bosnia and
Herzegovina established a Migration Health Assessments Programme
for nationals who are leaving the country under the family
reunification program to various countries and refugees and
migrants departing from Bosnia and Herzegovina under
resettlement programs.
The program established in Sarajevo is for following countries:
USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, in Banja Luka and Mostar
for Canada and Australia (only visitors).
In order to improve medical assessment carried out in Bosnia and
Herzegovina, IOM also opened an ambulanta in Sarajevo, which is
fully equipped.
